Our aim is to open the hills, rivers, sea and skies to the Scouts of Hertfordshire – giving every Scout the opportunity to challenge themselves and live the adventure.

As a County team we achieve this in a number of ways

- Primarily through training and assessing leaders to deliver their own adventurous activities
- By directly providing activities for our members – opportunities for our members to try something different or more stretching without their leaders having to organise the event or find the skilled instructors themselves
- With an exciting and progressive range of County events and competitions for all sections
- By helping leaders find other voluntary and commercial providers who offer good value and meet Scouting standards

Providing this would not be possible without the support of the ACC’s, Assessors, Competition and Event organising teams – to whom I would like to extend my thanks for all their efforts.
